You have a right to be proud - you did a lovely job of fabric placement and the quilting looks beautiful too. Congratulations!

    Thanks all.

Maureen - You can get the pattern for free if you go to Bonnie's website at quiltville.com. Over on the right side column under Free Scrap Quilt Patterns. Then you scroll down to My Blue Heaven and click. It will give you the pattern and can be printed as pdf. Enjoy!

Laurafet - Yeah, I love penguins!

NunnyJo and Artsyone - Thanks for the kind words. The shading and color placement really pretty much fell into place all by its self. It was a scrappy quilt and it could be a controlled scrappy or just totally random. I had hard enough doing scrappy so I chose controlled. I will say after this class with Bonnie, I look at scraps a totally different way!

ArtsyOne - Thanks for you compliment on the quilting. I have a Bernina on a frame and have the Quilt Motion program. It works very nicely. However, I am new at it and haven't progressed past a panto. This one resembles fluffy clouds, so I thought it would follow through nicely on the theme.

You quilt is beautiful, Your Puppy is the same pound puppy my son had, he named it "Cooler" He has always kept it and when my 3 year old grand daughter brought it down from his bedroom (the spare room now) he happened to stop by for a visit, and saw it...It was sooo cute he took it away from her and told me that is his...LOL He has a 2 year old little boy now, and took it home with him, and he is 30 years old...

What a wonderful quilt! You did a gorgeous job on it -- the blues make a very 'serene' quilt.
