Both quilts are beautiful but that first one is even more spectacular. Do you know the name of the pattern?

Thanks for sharing your story, that is sweet! My Mother did pass away a few minutes after Christmas last year, and I did cherish all the sewing and crafting time we shared! keep it up, maybe instead of watching Tv after she cooks, as a trade off you could give her some more tips on quilting!
I know I miss my Mother, and so many people here have been walking me through alot, since my Mother just began to teach me quilting!

Wonderful quilts! I to would have been shocked at your friends comment but none of us have a guarantee on the number of years we get. It's so nice that your daughter took the time to learn while you can still teach.
