Good on your mum for keeping so active and creating beautifull quilts, just love the Lone Star quilt, the colours are superb, you have inspired me to start my Lone Star quilt for a bedspread for ME, I have had the fabric for so long but I am always making quilts for others (at my own choosing).

What a totally awesome quilt, you should be very proud of your mother and she should be proud of herself for her accomplishments. It's been said that if you keep busy you live longer and have a healthier life. I'm glad you have your mother to share your love of quilting with.

Your Mom is a remarkable lady. Her quilt is beautiful. Keep going Mom, you are an inspiration to us all.

Beautiful Quilt. Better yet you have a mother who shares your interests. That's better than anything.

That quilt is gorgeous!

My mom will soon be 85, works 2 to 3 days a week and drives on the interstate at rush hour. She is threatening to retire at the end of this year - we will see.

She does stamped cross stitch. We keep buying her baby quilt kits and have put the finished ones aside for future great grandchildren when she can no longer do the cross stitch.

I pray that her genes are dominant.

It's gorgeous! Your mom doesn't look anywhere near 91. God bless her.

Awesome. I want to be just like your Mom. What is her secret for staying so young?

She looks great for 91 years young. My mom is 88-89 in Dec. and she just quit because she cannot sit and hand quilt for that long.
