The center portion of this soldier quilt was made by my eight year old grandson who lives in Charlotte. I took it home to Virginia, did a little machine embroidery, added a few hexagons, and
tried free motion quilting for the very first time. Lots of "learning" errors in this quilt, but it is certainly patriotic and made with love for whoever receives it at Walter Reed or Bethesda Naval Hospital.

It is beautiful! Know whoever receives will love it and appreciate all you did to make it.
