Beautiful story! I made my mother a quilt and she threw it in a closet. When my sister went to live with her to take care of her, she pulled it out and made my mother use it. After her death my sister sent it to me. My daughter was married in September and I fixed it up and gave it to her.

That's beautiful. How wonderful that you have it so you can feel your mother's presence.

The pillow is beautiful.
Now it will warm your heart as it did your Mothers.
Some things are just not replaceable. A wonderful sister to have sent this blessing back to your home.

It is very obvious that your mother loved that pillow a great deal. It is so well taken care of that if you hadn't told us I would think you had made it recently, not 30 years ago. It is also very obvious why she loved that pillow so much, it is beautiful and of course that it came from her DD. You did a great job on your cathedral windows. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful tribute to your mom and your quilting.

Wow! Beautiful work and how precious that your Mom loved and appreciated your gift. I can hardly imagine what this must mean to you. Thank you for sharing.
