    Both are nice quilts. The second one is fun - nice material and I like the tilted blocks

    No it isn't hard at all....I didn't even have a pattern. The secret is choosing the right fabric. You need at least a 12" pattern repeat, 18" is even better but it's hard to find. You also need to have enough background color in the print for contrast. I'm discovering that larger prints seem to work better. I cut everything out for another one and the print was tighter...closer together with not as much background and it just isn't working.
    I think if you do a search here on the board there should be a tutorial how to do it.

    I'm addicted to making them now....I have chosen probably 6 more fabrics to do them out of. Now when I look at fabric that's all I see now. Those types of prints are really standing out to me....I could be in trouble...LOL!

    I have to send out a real big THANK YOU for all of your wonderful comments on my quilts. I am actually fairly new to quilting and all of your comments are very encouraging :P

    Now I can't wait to post the pics of the King Size Paper Pieced Quilt I will be finishing up this week! Yes, King Size and All Paper pieced Stars. This will be my very first show quilt...that will be the true test of my work.

    All of you on this board are amazing! Your comments, willingness to help in any way you can, by making the newbies feel welcome, your giving and friendship are a true inspiration and it is wonderful to know that there are still wonderful people out there!! Thank you all again! {{{{{HUGS}}}}}
