Quilting is getting more recognition as a true art form, whether it be traditional or modern patterns. This is the first year our local art center has "selected" any quilt item as a part of their art exhibit and sale. Keep on "flying the flag".

Thanks everyone. Greensleeves, I took a few pieces in for the curator of the exhibition to chose from and wasn't surprised that she chose the PP piece and the red and white but was surprised AND pleased that she also picked the tumbling blocks, which is VERY traditional. :-D It's nice to give both kinds an outing as I love both myself. :-D

You work is lovely and well worth displaying. I enjoy every piece you post here, and it looks to me that it stands up just as well at a public showing. Thanks for the pictures!
