    All your work is spectacular!

Where did you find the "promises" pattern?

Gem-I loved all of your quilts. You do beautiful work, great colors. I was especially touched by the quilts that you made for the military families. Your kindness was appreciated, I can assure you.

The promises pattern is from Pressed for Time Quiltworks by Mary Hubka.
She makes her patterns for 8 "sweet treats" or fat quarters. I doubled the size cause I like to make my quilts a little bigger, for 2 to snuggle under. You can google Pincushion Boutique and look at their website and it will list all of her patterns. I am making a very similar one for my son in a queensize from a different pattern. I can't find my book at the moment. I'll look and give you the name of that one as well.

The name of the one similar to Promises is from the book "Open a can of Worms" by Debbie Caffrey, the quilt is called "Four Patches & Friends" you can see the contents of the book at debbiescreativemoments.com.

I especially like the Wedding gift for David and Carolyn pattern is called "Promises". It is amazing all that you have done for so many people!
I really appreciate what you have given to those who serve/ have served our country. I love that you have had the unit sign the quilts. I have 4 nephews and a niece in all branches of the service overseas; one is home after a serious injury in Afghanistan. I pray they all come home...mine, yours, each & every one of them. Thank you for your kind thoughtfulness.

Your quilts are wonderful. I haven't made a Home of the Brave quilt yet, but work with Don Beld with his potholder blocks for the fallen. Do you make those too?
