Thread: some of my wall hangings

    The one with the chickens is my own design and the other two are two of my favorites from patterns. The "tablecloth" is actually a dinner size napkin and it's dimensional.

    The flowers in the picture are actually cut out individually and then arranged in the basket. The spools of thread are actual wood spools cut in half so the back is flat and then I wound thread back on them.

    The splatterware coffee pot and mug are actually splatter painted by me. I found a solid that was the exact shade and then used white acrylic paint and an old toothbrush and splattered it before I cut them out.

    Your work is charming. The great thing about wallhangings is that you get to try out a new pattern or applique without investing a lot of time and money in a bedsize quilt. They also take up a whole less space to store or display. Great work.
