    That's so sad :-(

It's interesting to see you guys are so into animals too. I guess it's true what they say, quilters DO have huge hearts. :-)

    Very pretty.
I think I will make a quilt with wild animal skin print cotton and some wild animal print foux fur for my grandson.

    Thanks for the idea.

    LOL

How could you interrupt that nap! ;-)

I have a similar faux fur throw to the green one, only it's blue and it's bigger. I have plans to make a much larger quilt using that as the backing. We went through a phase here where faux fur and fleecy throws were very trendy and were quite cheap to buy, so I have quite a pile of them.

    Hi Blue Chicken!

I love the quilt! It's so funky with the fur backing! I got some large pieces of crushed velvet in a 'dump bin' a while back for 50 cents and never knew what I could use it for, now I KNOW it'll work as a backing on a future quilt - thanks for the inspiration! :D

I've gained so much from this board, inspiration wise, techniques and tips, and good old fashioned comraderie. It's cool to be able to give something back. :-)
