Hello. Since I've only been a member of the board since the beginning of Dec. I decided it was a good time to show you some pics of the some of the things I've done. Some of them aren't quilts but I've done the sewing. Hope you enjoy the eye candy.

Thanks for the compliments. I've only been quilting for about 2 yrs or so, but I have sewn for most of my life. I do other crafts too, crochet, needle tatting, embroidery, cross stitch, I'm a pretty crafty person.

The pin cushion is a "Blazing Star" pattern and I got it out of a book from the library. I don't remember the name of the book. There is supposed to be the shapes that go in the background, but I thought it would be difficult to do. The cushion itself was challenging with the "Y seams". I can try to look up the name of the book and get back to you on it.

No, paintedquilt, actually snow is great, but you all can keep the wind!!!!! HA HA HA HA

The diaper bag was my own creation, no pattern. My daughter just wanted to have a big bag, it is used for when they come up to see her dad or when they go overnight or longer. I made it so it is reversible as well. I just sewed bias tape on the seams to make it reversible

I love your work, but I absolutely love the froggy wallhanging!! Where did you get that fabric?? Any leftover that you would like to sell/trade for it?? My aunt collects frogs and this is something that would be unique for her collection. Please let me know and also welcome to the board!!

The froggy wallhanging was a panel my mom had given me. I don't know where she got it. Sorry couldn't help there, and I don't have any more of it. On the book for the star pattern, I'll have to go to the library, couldn't find it online on their website. I do know that it is in with the reference books. I'll get you the name of the book, but it'll take a little bit of time as our vehicle is broke for the time being.
