    The first one is done and one edge has been bound. I tied that one and there are suns in the four corners. The second is my first quilt.

    The "sun" one is very much like something I would have done. Very nice. Lots of different block techniques, all executed well. Colors are great too.

    Your quilts are beautiful. I especially like the one on the bed with the sun corners!!! Have you tried machine quilting yet? I have never tied a quilt before.

    The tied one is done on foundation piecing. It was years ago and I don't remember if it has a name even. I did the tying on the top 'cause that was how my grandmother did all of hers and I'd never seen it done otherwise.

    You think if I took it as is to a machine quilter that she (he) could quilt it as it is and take out the ties?
