And I thought I could hand quilt. Ha! You take the cake! I know how much patience it takes to make those tiny stitches. Beautiful work.

Thank you all very much! I love to hand quilt but it does take forever!! I am keeping track of the approximate hours involved in hand quilting this and will let you know when I post a final pic. But that probably won't be for a while.

I don't think my stitches are that small, but thank you all for the wonderful comments!!

Love your quilt! Being a handquilter myself, I can appreciate the time and effort that goes into a quilt like yours. I kept a log of the time spent quilting the last baby quilt I made.... A total of 62.5 hours to complete a 36x36" piece! It is a good thing it is so satisfying to see the work come to life as each stitch is made.

I am just amazed by all of you who hand quilt. It must take you forever! But, I've been toying with the idea myself. Handwork can be so relaxing and feel so meaningful.
