I found this really pretty fabric today at work and it was on sale at 4.99/m, so I brought it home and tried the warm wishes pattern... it went together sooooooooo fast! The top is done and I only started to cut out the pieces around 7.

I wanted to make a quick baby quilt, but that wasn't babyish... I don't think my plan worked.

So, tell me what you think :)

I think it looks great! I love baby quilts that can grow with the child and won't be too babyish when the child gets older.

Love it - I love the colors and fabric, it turned out so pretty. Alot of my baby quilts aren't really babyish so I think it's great!

This little quilt fits the bill perfectly! Good choice on the colors if it is to be a girl.

    Thanks, guys.
It is supposed to be for a little girl. A friend of mine is going to be an uncle very shortly, one of his sisters is pregnant, and they found out a couple of weeks ago that they're expecting a girl.

Love your quilt and agree that it will be great for a much longer time than a true baby quilt. What is the pattern? I'd like to make one.

your quilt is darling! Perfect now & to keep as she grows up. Most baby gifts get put away after baby stages, your gift will last forever! I love it!

Great fabric find! I love the WW pattern too. I really like how it gives an almost 3D look. I think the quilt is fine for a baby.

What a beautiful quilt top -- If you think that you don't want it for a baby quilt, you could send it to me -- it would look good on my couch

Keep it! It would make a wonderfully colorful spring couch quilt or lap quilt. The colors make me feel happy even on a dull rainy day like today.

Fantastic fabric. Your quilt is stunning. To me there seems to be movement to it. I think it has something to do with where the stems and flowers are within the squares and which way they point
Anyway I love this quilt and think it would make a great baby quilt. As others said, it will grow with the baby.
