I'd go for the white between the blocks & use red if not for a border then for the binding.

as said before it looks great either way. to my mind tho I think I would go for the sashing take a bold colour from the fabric add a white border then the coloured border and a white border then maybe a fine !/2 inch coloured border to finish it. Just My thoughts.

I love it with the white sashing. Looks like some of the "modern" quilts that are everywhere. Just do some straight rows of quilting and you'll have a beautiful new quilt. Thanks for sharing

Push the blocks into groups of 16 - A 16 patch???, then use the white sashing on your new bigger blocks - maybe with some bright cornerstones. Do you have enough of the green hibiscus print for cornerstones?

I like the white sashing. To finish it up I'd try a wide border of either the red or blue, then an inch or so of white. Bind with red or blue. There is a lot of movement in this quilt. I like it!

I love it without any sashing...its just a personal preference.

I like it both ways, but I prefer it without the sashing; I think the way the bright florals look when they're all together is quite striking.

But I don't think you can go wrong either way.

Looks great both ways, I personally prefer the first.

I think you need a contrasting color for the sashing. Currently the white blocks merge with the white sashing.

What about black sashing? That would make all of the blocks pop! The right shade of yellow (can't be too pastel) would work too, I think.

I agree with the 16 blocks together and also the corner stones. Also because there are only some white blocks, you could turn them in so they don't touch the white sashing.
