as said before it looks great either way. to my mind tho I think I would go for the sashing take a bold colour from the fabric add a white border then the coloured border and a white border then maybe a fine !/2 inch coloured border to finish it. Just My thoughts.

Push the blocks into groups of 16 - A 16 patch???, then use the white sashing on your new bigger blocks - maybe with some bright cornerstones. Do you have enough of the green hibiscus print for cornerstones?

I think you need a contrasting color for the sashing. Currently the white blocks merge with the white sashing.
What about black sashing? That would make all of the blocks pop! The right shade of yellow (can't be too pastel) would work too, I think.
