I'd try with black sashing, maybe just one inch at the most. I would try 4 units sewn together and sashing then. just cut a couple of strips of black and present it to see how you like it.

I like all the suggestions. But I was thinking how nice it would look if some of the blocks were turned on point as well.

I like it!! I love sashing between vibrant blocks! I think it makes each block stand on it's own! I agree that a border of red or blue would be awesome!

And when you do, make sure you don't have any of the light colored blocks on the outside. They call this "the missing tooth" look when a color blends in with the sashing too much. Liked the idea of a yellow sashing too.....

IMHO I agree with above statement, and notice that you have red or pink in almost every square, so a thought is to have the reds and pinks make the center of the 16 patch and then border in red to set off that color. Or set the blocks on point with a solid color block in between. Lots of ways to tweak those blocks. Have fun & post pic when done
