Something Blue, (my) most beautiful bridal quilt

I had this pattern for ten years before I was ready for the challenge, then spent about seven months making it, and today am the very proud recipient of a first place award at my local quilt show!

The pattern was designed by Pam Bono. It has wool batting.

How cool is that you had that pattern as inspiration for 10 years, then when you felt ready took the leap and made it. Not just made it, but did an amazing job. You really made an heirloom quilt. You should be so proud of yourself!

That is just amazing. It is so unique! I don't know which is more noteworthy, the piecing or the quilting. You should enter it in other quilt shows!
