Yesterday I started a quilt for my son. He loves to fish!

These are not ironed or cut to size yet, and are machine embroidered. I still need to emb more for his quilt. The designs are from EL

Thought I'd give you a sneak peak

Thanks. It is a surprise for him. He was born to fish

When he was 16, he caught a world record red eared sunfish. We got it stuffed and documented in the books and all. Now if I could just find an emb design of that fish......

What a great quilt that will turn out to be. I can't sait to see it. Those embroideries take a long time to do.

Awesome quilt for a fisherman/woman. Can you import pictures from the internet to your machine that does the embroidery? If so, google the fish you want and see if you can find a pic that you can copy. My sis does this sometimes.

The fish came from embroiderylibrary.com and the names of the designs are

    rainbow trout
    fishing pole
    blue gill
    tarpon
    chinook salmon
    fishing lure

I combined some of the designs and did some of the lettering on them myself. I have a Bernina and just download the designs to my USB stick and then did the embroidering.

    Hope this helps?
