DS is a big Dodger fan and I was using some Dodger blue in some blocks. I asked him if he'd like a quilt for his birthday and, after watching me work all this time on other projects, he said firmly, "YES!" So the blocks went together and then the rows and then the quilt. I used a long arm quilter for the first time and he did a great job. I will use him again.

Living in SF Giants territory, and living with a serious Giants fan (read - Dodger-hater), I could get confined to my room for life for saying this, but I'll risk it:

WOW! Nice job, it's soo nice. I'm sure he loves it - his face tells the whole story.

Doesn't seem to matter how old they are, they still love things that we make for them. (my eldest son did the same thing when he got his quilt) Way to go Mom!!
