    Soulful Garden...quilted by Charisma

I named this quilt "Soulful Garden" because Cheryl pieced this quilt by hand...from her own heart and soul. She even pieced the backing...by hand. She is a self-taught quilter...doesn't use a pattern and just just sews as she goes. She never knows what the quilt will look like until she is finished. It's an expression from her soul. We both know where that comes from.

I am privledged to quilt for her. She gives me complete freedom to quilt how I want.....and I just try to compliment her work...not take away from it.
    Many blessings!
    Charisma

Here is a link to her original post so you may get a better idea of what the whole quilt looks like.

I love the quilt and love the soulful expression. People tell me to make stuff professionally...no way! My work comes from the heart and created with love in mind. There is no way I could create when "forced."

I'm always amazed at your work - how you come up what just the right design to fill each quilt top that comes your way - how do you do that? Fantastic!
