That is real pretty. It will fit in the center of a square table. I make them for living room furniture also.

You do beautiful work, reminds me of my mother's handiwork. She used to sew a lot and make quilts every year until I was in junior high. She then started crocheting everyday as us girls took away her sewing machine and used it-she didnt need to sew anymore as we made our own clothes and purses. Her specialty was crocheted pineapple tablecloths and doilies. They were treasured by all family members who received them for wedding and birthday gifts. She used to say she would never have arthritis in her hands as it didn't have time to set in the bones with all her crocheting. I have the most beautiful large round pineapple tablecloth in storage as I too do not have a round table to display it. These are wonderful heirlooms.

that is so pretty. there is a lady online who has made a quilt with her doilies. she tacked them in blocks and the quilt turned out beautifully. i have saved a picture of it and emailed her for directions. i want to make one when i feel up to it. hopefully it won't be too much longer.

that is some beautiful work. must have taken you a while with that little thread.

I love the doily, its beautiful, I used to crochet all the time also. A neighbor lady taught me when I was about 10 or 11. And taught me a little piano, which I still do today. Only keyboard mostly.Luckily I could play by ear. Took some lessons. Right now I'm working on counted cross-stitch stocking for great grandson, he's 18 mos. Didn't get finished for his first Christmas. Trying to quilt in between. Staying busy..

That is so lovely, why don't you attach it to fabric and make a beautiful quilt with it. 15 dollars and it didn't sell? Are people crazy, what a bargain

Oh, I love this one, my mom & I had made one together. I also made the one called popcorn pineapples. Would look awesome as the center of a quilt, what a better way to display it??
