JenJen specially designed these for friends of hers that are ill..cancer. I think these are such a beautiful, kind and blessed quilts!
SHe just wanted simple quilting..nothing to take away from the scriptures...So I just did free motion hand guided designs.
Last night while working on one of them Preston my 10 year old said "Mom Are those scriptures about Mary?" ( he didn't think he had heard them before) So I explained to him that Jen put the names of her friend's in the verse to help them heal. Preston said "And you get to be a part of that? That is so special mom!" I think so too!

Beautiful, beautiful. I know having gone thru cancer that something like this the person will literally hang on to this quilt. You just really do want something to hold up against you and enfold you. What a beautiful, beautiful gift. God Bless you all!

How thoughtfull is your friend. The people will just Love those. I just love your quilting the flowers. You do that free form ? how long have you been quilting the tops of quilts ?

so very nice and may you be blessed both in this life and the life to come. having your children watch you do nice thing helps them to become nice adults. my son is grown now and a family of his own and does things and if I ask him questions as to why he say because that what you did so it must be the right thing to do
