What a beautiful story and beautiful quilt. Goes to show how important labeling truly is. I'm so sorry for your loss!

This is why we quilt...to bring comfort and joy to someone. Your friend must have loved this quilt and felt your love for her in it's warmth. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Sometimes we don't realize the impact we make on others. It is obvious that this quilt and your loving gesture meant a lot to both mother and daughter. How wonderful you had an unexpected visit and she was able to relay the pictures and her obvious appreciation.........an added blessing. Sometimes we never find out.

You made a beautiful quilt for your friend and it looks like she loved it and now her daughter loves it. The label tells a lovely story. You did an amazing labor of love.

Lovely quilt and inscription. Your quilt has obviously succeeded in bringing comfort not only to your friend during her time of need and now to her daughter and family.
