Beautiful. I love your runner. I agree with you, once you start doing it, it's not hard and it does go fairly fast. The cutting out is the most time consuming.
Since it is layered and turned, you do not put binding on it. Just stitch around the top and it looks like binding.
If you haven't done one yet, I suggest you do, if it interests you. Everyone that sees it, thinks it's so difficult. I did too. I read the pattern and it scared me to pieces. Give it a try.
