    Spiderweb quilt, "Deep Purple"

Deep Purple is the first time I've used the wrong side of a fabric all the way through a quilt. In relation to the other fabrics in the webs, the right side of the pale teal read as a medium, but I needed a medium light. I resisted the urge to go shopping and used this piece from my stash. I probably would have done better shopping, but I think it works OK.
Green corded piping in the border seam. 112" x 100". Quilted with So Fine on my BabylockTiara.

Lovely quilt and quilting! The quilting enhances the pattern rather then overshadowing it, my favourite kind of quilting!

    It's a gorgeous quilt!
A quilt is like a good life. It's full of mistakes, but, in the end, it looks pretty good.

Fabric selection is outstanding. Interesting choice to use back of fabric. I have never done that but I know of others that have with good results. Good choice of quilting design too. The border fabric is simply beautiful.

Gorgeous, and the corded piping in that complicated border seam is genius. Was it hard to do?
