A group of girls in a virtual bee I am in made 15 of the blocks and I am making the rest. I have enough to make 36 blocks ... and just maybe I can make 42 if I piece the aqua ... scrappy happy! :-) I like aqua/tangerine. What do you think for binding?
I sew'd the first row together to see how it would work.. due to the block size being off here and there I am losing star points (but I dont mind)

I think you need the yellow/gold to frame; binding or border. BTW I love your aqua/tangerine. Can't wait to see it finished.

I love the quilt. I would use a tangerine colored binding. I love the combo.

Thanks everyone! I think the dark orange/tangerine has the vote for binding... I will see what I can find... not sure about the aqua border because I am on a buying fabric freeze but will see what I have in my stash ;-)

I love all scrappies. To me they are the real quilts. Yours is beautiful, love your choice of the background fabric. I made one a few years ago using all my scraps and it took me 2 yrs to finish. My binding was made also from scraps. Its one of my favorites. Good job.

I am making one too, I used black for the background, just because I had alot of black fabric that I needed to use on something and vowed not to buy anything at all for this quilt as it is suppose to be scrappy. I love the aqua background. I'm working on the border now. How do you plan to quilt yours?

I don't know I am debating sending it out - but if I quilt it I will quilt in the ditch if possible around the webs to make a web and outline or shadow the stars ... I am not sure. You?
