Spiral Strips quilt in "Harvest Home" fabrics jelly roll
#24
Eddie, I just love this quilt AND the fabric! Did you make it with just the jelly roll of Blackbird Design's "Harvest Home" fabrics for Moda or did you add other fabrics to it? I haven't ever used the jelly rolls before but lately I have been seeing more and more quilts done with them and I'm really liking them.

Beautiful quilt. Your work is always fantastic.
I sewed the label on my last quilt for Christmas this morning. Doesn't it feel good to be done? Or are we? Oh let's pat ourselves on the back!! Great job, Eddie.

Thanks, everyone. :)
Hi Wendy,
I really like these books by the Lintotts, I think they're very well done. You do have to follow the instructions closely, though, because some of the patterns can be tricky to follow if you don't pick up on some key things from them. But all in all, they're great books, I've made a lot of quilts from them.

Maybe it would be less confusing if I was following the directions step by step but when taken as a whole - wow. I did not know of anyone who had used the books, they just looked interesting. Your quilt is beautiful. The receipients will be thrilled to get them.
Thanks for any help you can give.
