Default Splendid weekend!

Two more blocks done. Paper piecing needed again (I love doing it) for #15 - Family Affair and the 8-at-a-time HSTs method for the 5 HSTs for #18 - Lina's Gift.

All went well except for the final pressing of Lina's when I discovered I had used the background fabric for the large HST with the blue/slate color! A bit of unpicking and resewing and it DOES look a lot more attractive!

As you can see, I'm not doing the blocks in number order. For some I need to get eg: ruler fabric for #19 (on its way), or just don't want to tackle that one right now. So I have a fun decision to make again - What next?

Kitsie - how fun to see your progress! I am just starting block #8 and am having a wonderful time. Your blocks are an inspiration and are just far enough in front of me to be a carrot to my horse. A rabbit to my grayhound? A piece of cheese to my mouse? (you get the theme, I'm sure.) Keep them coming and I will struggle to keep up.
