Red face Spring Leaves from American Patchwork & Quilting april 2001

This is my project I started and the January retreat. It is machine pieced and goes kind of slow. Hope you enjoy.

I love it. It is going to make a beautiful quilt. Are you using a pattern? or designed it yourself?

Oh, just answered my own question by re-reading your post. I subscribe to that magazine but don't think I had started yet back in 2001.

I can see why it would go slow if I were doing it. Your quilt will be beautiful. Very pretty pattern and pretty color choices.

I can't say I would have ever picked those colors as a background. Having said that, it is a truly inspired choice!! I really can't wait to see the finished quilt which I hope you will post. It's going to be amazing!
