Stack n Whack Ribbon Weave
#76
Hi, I was just surfing around the quilting board and saw something about stack 'n whack strips are nice. Would you please explain?
I would love to make a stack 'n whack quilt, but I have bought so much fabric now I am afraid my husband will leave home if he sees any more big "piles" of fabric coming in the door!
I do have lots of strips--leftover from my Log Cabin Quilt.
Please enlighten me, if I read it right, and if so, how you do stack and whack with strips!

Hi, You do it the same way as a regular stack n whack . You just cut strips instead of triangles. the same as a one block wonder. every block is different, depends on where you cut the fabric in the design.

Thanks for your help. I presume you just stack the strips the same as if they were the fabric. Any other directions would be great. I have a book that gives a small amt. of directions for stack 'n whack. Think I will try enough for 1 block!
Mariah.
thanks again.
