OMG-I just love it!!! I bought the remaing fabric you had and cant wait to try it. It will be awhile though I am sure and mine probably wont turn out as well as yours!!! What kind of fusible backing did you use so I dont make the same mistake lol Let me know thanks Cheryl  :-D

This is so beautiful!! Had to look really hard for the ties...but finally found them. They look like just part of the design. Very well done!!!!

Oh, how well, do I know about that fusible being hard to get a needle through. I made a small wall hanging about a month ago, and ended up pushing the needle clear through the top of my thumbnail. You can still see the spot.

Wow, I will look for something else next time. I used the Steam-A-Seam. I should have used the light, but being me, I always find out too late. LOL

you did good. the idea of the little red threads in the fan does look like part of a real fan. That is a beautiful quilt. one that is sure to be in the family for a long time.

Thank you all. I admit it had me stumped as to how I was going to quilt it. But, I think it turned out pretty good. I will not be using that kind of fusible again, I can tell you. But I did enjoy the stack and whack.
