Default Stained Glass Wall Quilt Skull with Bow

This is a picture of a wall hanging quilt that I made fore one of my daughters.

She's 9 years old and loves girly skulls. We could not find a quilting design anywhere that had something she wanted.

So we made the design ourselves.

This is how we did it.

My daughter drew the picture of what she wanted.

Then I drew out the design based off of her drawing on to some Heat n Bond.

I cut out the pieces ad ironed them onto the backs of the appropriate fabrics.

From there I trimmed the fabrics and arranged them onto the black fabric.

After finding the correct placement, I pealed of the paper from the adhesive and pressed them into place.

Now my daughter has her ideal wall hanging in her room.

How do you think it turned out?

Really cute. I bet she is pretty proud of it! Something neither of you will ever forget.

That is really cute. I love the colors, and especially the mouth. xD It has a very girly Tim Burton vibe for me!

You are raising a creative genius and a future quilter. I see a lot of fun in your future as you work together.

Love it! It's cute. There was a time in my nieces life when she was younger she would have loved this! LOL! She outgrew it, but not the dark colors.
