    What a fine, fine job you did on this quilt. You should be very proud and I can well understand why your brother praised it and was grinning from ear to ear...it is beautiful. Keep up the fine work.

    It looks great. And the main thing is that your brother was thrilled with it. Keep remembering that people look at a quilt as a whole. They don't look for all the little things we know went a little off as we quilted it. They can't spot it and really don't care to. And with every quilt you do you improve your skill level. If you had left the quilt sit for four days without looking at it, you would have been just as impressed and thrilled with it as the rest of us. We are our hardest critics.

    Looks like your quilt is ready for competition to me. I can only meander & I rent from a LQS. The color combo is wonderful; you've done a wonderful job!!

    Wow!! It looks beautiful. You are a natural quilter. Who would guess that you've only quilted 8 quilts? I love all the purple in the quilt and I like your quilting.
