Gotta take care of our DD's. She did a great job and so did you. A special quilt with love from Mom!

What a beautiful quilt and I love your quilting. Most of the time I'm afraid to "step out of the box", but hopefully I will soon. You do beautiful work. My daughter has the first and only quilt that I hand-quilted before carpal tunnel forced me to stop. I think she was about 8 or 9, picked out the quilt pattern and all the fabrics, my memory has faded over the years, but I believe it had 4 appliqued hearts in each block and was a pattern by Georgia Bonesteel. I used to watch her quilting show all the time and even bought both versions of Spinning Spools, 1 & 2 where you received block/quilt patterns along with directions and even the mylar templates. I think she only made one video and I have that one too. I learned a lot from watching her quilting shows years ago (I'm not saying how old I am, but I'm getting up there years, however, it beats the alternative) and I've been quilting ever since.

I've already replied to your beautiful quilt, but wanted to ask you where your daughter lives in South Dakota. I grew up in the SE corner of SD near the Iowa/Nebraska line and my SIL still lives on the farm where I grew up, and where my great-grandparents homesteaded the farm. Great country and friendly people, I miss it.
