    Congratulations!!
I would feel ripped off if I had paid for a pattern that only had approximate measurements. Well done that you persevered and did a wonderful job. You must feel a great sense of accomplishment.
Thumbs down to whoever wrote the pattern. Patterns cost a lot and are mainly only like a photo copy.

Really gorgeous fabrics and beautiful quilt. You will hopefully forget the frustration after it is quilted, bound and on your bed. Based on how pretty it is, it is worthy of your hard efforts.

It is a beautiful quilt! Good on you for persevering. I think that had it been me, it would have gone in my UFO (unfinished object) pile! Well done!

I admire people who keep on going even though the pattern designer did not provide enough info. I also admire an excellent quilt. Good for you.

I bought this pattern several years ago( after seeing one made up in Lolly's in Shipshewana, IN) but haven't had the nerve to try it yet. A couple of other quilters have posted pics and said what a headache it was. Your quilt is stunning. One of these days, I'll get up my nerve and give it a go.

Blue and yellow is my favorite color combination. I just finished my second quilt with this color combo.

I know what you mean about frustrating. Mine has been waiting on my wall for a long time. I forget the "approximate" part till I read your post. After a couple of years I had gone back and tried to finish. Thought it was the fact that I was using a different machine and seams were off. The set in "Floater Fabric"(blue&yellow check) shapes were too small. Will give it another try when I finish the ABC books for ggs.
