It's done, it's done, it's done! When I sewed that last seam I was sitting there smiling like a fool. :D I could hardly believe it was actually finished. I am very happy with how it came out and how everything lined up as I planned.

Now I need to figure out how I'm going to quilt it.

Yes, you should be very proud of yourself. Great colors and lovely piecing. I can't offer any suggestions on the quilting but I look forward to seeing how you finish it up.

Thank you everyone. It was more, and harder, work than I really thought of when I started it. I am a complete amateur, never took a class but I can read and follow directions. Everyone is in a league of their own and I have seen such awesome quilts that I wouldn't want to show mine anywhere near it!

Some of the points are cut off since I only have so much patience in trying to square up and re-size a block that got out of whack.

You have a fantastic eye for colour and balance.

If you truly consider yourself an "amateur", I can't wait to see you in "experienced" mode!

I love your quilt maybe you can come teach me piecing. I am so not good at pieced quilts matter of fact the first pieced quilt I tried is still up in my attic. I went for the double wedding ring quilt for my mother in law that was 18 years ago . you all do such beautiful work now to learn how you do it ggg.
