    The top is done, I need to think on how I want to finish it. The original pattern was stars of Provence

    hmmmm ... here's a wild idea for the wild beasties. instead of a traditional rolled, folded and tacked down binding, why not an extra border on front, sewn to another on back, and then clipped like a rag quilt would be. might it not resemble a lion's mane after washing?

    That is a neat quilt for a boy - or anyone! The borders REALLY make it pop! And I think Patrice's idea for a raggedy mane edge is cool!

    I am just binding it with black, not enough of anything left. After taking the pictures I had to move a few pieces I put in backward. Isn't it funny you don't notice till you look at a picture a few times :D
