Thread: Stars on Parade, Connecting Threads kit

    Morning all. Here's a picture of the top which I finished this morning. It's a really cool kit from Connecting Threads. When I first opened the box, I had to question some of the fabric choices, but WOW, when you get it all together, it's super!!! This was fun, even though my seam ripper and I bonded ALOT on this project! Thanks for looking!

    I agree. It is very nice. Love the patriotic look. Hurry and get it quilted by the 4th.

    Looks Great :thumbup: Will you use it in the room that you have it now ? Looks like it will match the wall pattern behind it :lol:

    That's actually my office at work. I stenciled the walls a few years ago, figured might as well make my work place inviting.

    Can't go wrong with the red,white and blue. Looks great, I have a kit Daughter bought me for Christmas from connecting threads, will be starting it in a week or so.

    Just wanted to update you a little. My nephew left for Parris Island this past Monday, Memorial day to be exact. We had a farewell party for hims on Sunday and I had everyone at the party sign the quilt and give him good wishes. I know he can't take it with him to boot camp, but he'll always have it. Semper Fi!
