That is wonderful ! Any chance I can get some more details from you on the pattern ? What size are the larger squares ? And did you do them as half square triangles ? Thanks for helping and sharing !

WOW!! Looks like a glass kalidescope. Beautiful colors placed perfectly, moves the eye throughout the quilt.

Several people have asked about the pattern, so let me explain - I did not have a pattern as such.

There are two alternating 8" blocks, identical except for the orientation of some of the patches. The small squares are 1" finished. I showed big pictures (from EQ6) of the two blocks in this post: http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/15/23920.page

I think if you look at the blocks you will understand that the "larger squares" are formed by the interplay of the two 8" blocks. It's really interesting how two fairly simple blocks come together and form secondary designs.
