This is the one that is in my avatar. I am using 9"x11" pieces of CW fabric, 18 of them so far for the corners of the 9-patch blocks, and 3 purple fabrics for the centers. There are 35 blocks in the quilt pattern, 5 blocks x 7 blocks, but I think I may make it 6 blocks x 8 blocks because the pattern is only 61"x81".

There are two blocks of each fabric and I made sure that there are different purples in each set. I am using all greens for the sashing blocks because they will meet up with the green vines in the border and I want some continuity with the green.

Thanks for coming up with another one for us to watch grow. Love the CW fabrics you are using and like your theory with the green. Keep the pictures coming!

I got 200 CW type fabrics for the Dear Jane block party but decided that I really didn't have that much interest in doing it so I looked around for things to use them in.

I figure that I can get 3 quilts out of them in combinaton with the 15 yards of Kona Cotton in ivory that I got. This one will take about 5 yards of the ivory and I have selected 40 fabrics for it so far. That's way more than enough for the blocks but I'll do a heart out of each fabric for the border and the center hearts.

First block done. :-D Glad I did one whole block first because I need to adjust the seam allowance one more tick over. It was just a smidgen smaller than 9 1/4" so I had to block and starch it.

I got the Triangle Magic program from Quilt-Pro systems and printed out a sheet for 1 1/4" HSTs. That turned out pretty good and that's a good thing because I need to make 384 of them.

Hardly any work done on this lately but I hope to have a good chunk of it done this weekend. I'm working on the corner pieces of the blocks and what's in this picture is only half of them! I still have another 24 sets of 4 to do and have the CW strips cut for them.
