Hi Winnie, that is the same material I just made an OBW from, only blue. And I just bought some of the red to make another. Yours looks good. I'm in Houston too, in Spring Branch.

I am finally going to be able to get back to my OBW. Life and full time work has kept be away from my OBW. I go on vacation on Friday!!! Just going to the timeshare on the lake. Taking my machine and "STUFF". Grandkids are all busy soooo-- Only adults who can talk about or bring a machine and sew are welcome to share my vacation this year. Anyone in the Houston area I will be on Lake Conroe just north of Conroe in 2 bedroom 2 bath, Large rooms to sew in.... Send me a message for my cell phone and directions. Besides I may need some help this the overall design of this OBW.

I have made progress. I have all my half hex's sewn together. But wonder of wonder I find that because I did not starch my fabric BEFORE cutting that I had some crawl and not all the triangles were the same. Have to go back and resize all the half hex's to a uniform size. I don't think it will detract from the over all effect. Will let you know how that works out.

Great use of a great fabric. I bought 5 metres because I loved it, and hae only used 2. Me thinks I may be copying your idea before long.Thannks for sharing, can't wait to see more pics.
