    Borders on a quilt are like a frame on a picture -- and your two quilts are lovely! I'd do borders the size of your sashing to keep it all balanced. Love both!

    Ditto, and I like your darker pink choice.

    I would not add a border. I rarely have borders on my quilts.
    Borders, unless pieced to reflect/enhance the top usually look to me like a way to enlarge a quilt.

    I like them both. I haven't used solids in awhile and that one really looks good to me. Somehow a simple pattern looks more dramatic.
