Congratulations! We are thinking of going to the fair this year, and if we make it I will look for your quilts.

It is so wonderful that you were able to enter the fair and perform so well in the last standings! You must be beaming with pride. I know I would be.

Congratulations! All of the quilts are beautiful, and so different from each other. I was interested to see that you entered a Quilt of Valor in the show. I was wondering if they qualified to be shown, so that answers that question for the US at least.

Well... maybe not. The class that I entered in the State Fair of Virginia was titled "Quilt of Valor." I actually made the quilt for a friend who loves patriotic quilts. I thought this quilt fit the description no matter who it was made for, and there were no rules saying that the quilt had to be donated to a veteran. This fair quilt show had no problem with it, but other quilt shows may have different rules.
