I have admired this pattern as it has been and shown by several other people. But, Your quilting takes your presentation of this pattern to new heights! And, I really like your orange background. Lovely.

Feline, I know exactly what you mean. I started out trying to achieve that effect of the beaded headdresses you see on elephants ... used metallic thread around the edges of her ears, and down her trunk. But I couldn't come up with a way to do more such quilting without completing with all the nice colors in her ears. Actual strings of beads might have been the answer! I never thought of that.
