I have been trying to use up strips from my scraps (leftovers from my Spiderweb) and I have this scrappy lappy and I am trying to disguise the fact that it is pretty ugly. I will be adding a scrap piano key border to use up more scraps but I thought I might add a silhouette. This one I think needs to be about twice as big or leave it off?

Your definition of ugly does NOT match mine! I think this is wonderful and the silhouette adds a dash of whimsy ... LOVE this! but then I love scrappy and strip pieced blocks. Great job. I don't even think you need to add the piano keys, I like it as it is.

I love it and the silhouette is a great touch and yes it could be bigger or maybe more than one????Whatever you do it's not ugly to me but I LOVE scrappies of any kind!!!!!

It's a terrific scrappy! The silhouette is a fun idea! Perhaps make it bigger, or maybe add another-? It will be great whichever you decide.

Ugly? No No....it's beautiful! And the silhouette is darling! I'd make it larger. Piano key border would be nice too but it's fine as it is now. That silhouette idea is great!! But by no means is this ugly!!!
