    Yeah, I think I'd only do the star and the flowers. The quilting really depends on what type of batting you use. If you're using cotton, it requires much less than a poly does.

    I love your block!! Very springy, and I just have a "thing" for green, and for the green/pink combo!!!!

    I agree, just double check your batting info to see how closely you need to quilt, but I don't think you will have a problem.

    When I stitch in the ditch, I select the long seams first. (Top to bottom, side to side.)Then perhaps diagonal seams that cut through the blocks. Look at the directions on your batting package. It will tell you how close together the quilting needs to be. Doing every seam on this block would be quite a process and it probably wouldn't be the best looking.

    it's not a big quilt, so I don't think it needs stitching in all seams. just enough to make it lay flat, especially after it is washed.
