You call it stuff and fluff, I call it cram and cuss!! I know how your shoulders feel! I don't think there is an easy way to quilt a really big quilt on a regular machine!
On a lighter note, the quilt is really pretty! Great use of scraps! The colors are great! Good job! :-D

LOL! Cram & cuss does sound more like it!

Love your quilt! I can't do that fluff and stuff thing so I do my SID free motion and just go around each block as I come to it. Keeps me from having to turn the quilt! Took a little practice and I can actually do straighter lines going backward!

I use the "fluff & stuff" method ever since I saw that lady on Simply Quilts. I find it much easier than rolling up that great big sausage and sitting it on my shoulder.
Try taking frequent short breaks to stretch your arms & shoulders.

Beautiful quilt and sewing room. I FMQ almost all of my quilts on my 9-1/2" throat sewing machine, I can't stay in the ditch and I love the FMQ much better.

Beautiful quilt. I tried quilting on the machine and it looked horrible. I have to stick to hand quilting.
