I think you did a great job, and so quickly! I love the sail boat, because I like things of the sea, but the chickens are lovely, too! :thumbup:

Thank you everyone, the roosters & wine related ones are for my sisters birthday , and I need to get them in the mail soon. One of the roosters my granddaughter helped, it was her first time sewing, so its special.

I love making boats, someday i'll have to do a whole quilt with them, they are so easy.

First off I want to tell you these gifts are wonderful, especially since they are hand done. But, don't be silly! Jump in and play on the machine. You will love it and get so much more finished.

I too started out with hand sewing my quilts and blocks. It is a labor of love.

I know I need to brave using the machine again, but since my heart attack and memory loss, Im going to have to relearn it. Which is scary. But It's coming... a time where I have to use the machine. I do miss it. I love sewing by hand too,especially on small things for my grandkids.
