I agree, I have been using a wow for many that I've been making. Everyone at the shop said try a muslin so I did. Won't do it again. This will be my 3rd completed top I have embroidery since Sept. Also working on Over the River for my son, he wants it all done in black/whites??

Your quilt is beautiful! I really love the color choices you used. It has gotten so bad I rarely buy muslin for anything. No matter how much you pay the quality doesn't seem to be that good. I now buy white quilt fabric (white on white, or creams). Rub the fabric between your fingers and you will start to recognize the different feel of fabrics. Start trusting your instincts.
